AquaClean:

The Effective Solution to FOG / Fats, Oil and Grease Trap Problems

Where odor represents a problem, especially in food prep areas, select an AquaClean (liquid) Industrial Series Product and the problem will be solved. Treatment should follow the following guidelines for in facility use.

  • • Manual Applications - AQUACLEAN / ACF-32 represents our best solution to general grease problems. Use one gallon to 1 1/2 gallons for each 1.000 to 1,500 of trap capacity, with product being applied following grease trap pumping. Our customers advise that as little as one quart of AQUACLEAN / ACF-32 following pumping eliminates difficult pumping problem WITHIN 30 TO 60 DAYS. It is noteworthy that they add the product at no charge to eliminate the problems they have in pumping traps with large grease blocks on the surface. In addition they note that no other bio-formulation they have tried will provides this result!
  • • Automatic Pump Applications – Utilizing AQUACLEAN / GT, feed pump with daily applications of 18 to 21 ounces. Apply AQUACLEAN / GT during low flow periods for optimum results. For heavy grease loading and systems that require special attention (historical problems) add an additional quart of AQUACLEAN / ACF-32 monthly to the grease trap, as a grease digester. Make product application by diluting one quart in one gallon of warm water and distribute to the main drain line just before the trap.
  • • Feed Systems & AQUA-CLEAN - for industrial application and areas where AQUACLEAN / ACF-32 odor can be accepted, add ACF-32 at 10 ounces per day. For cost consideration AQUACLEAN / ACF-32 can be diluted 50% with water and applied at 15 ounces per day. Should this method be selected make sure to mix the product well during blending/dilution.

LINE &TRAP Start Up- review the facilities drain lines and grease traps to determine if lines and trap should cleaned and pumped prior to biological treatment. In addition obtain system history regarding line blockages and frequency of trap pumping so a comparison may be provided on AQUACLEAN product benefits.

For Facility Start-Up - dilute one gallon of AQUACLEAN / ACF-32 with 5 gallon of tap water, apply 32 ounces of the dilute ACF-32 to each drain line prior to the grease trap (apply at closing or during a low flow period). This will seed all lines providing odor and flow benefits in the entire facility as well as benefit the receiving grease trap.

PROBLEM PUMPING - For grease traps with large volumes of solid surface grease (FOG blocks) add two to three gallons of AQUACLEAN / ACF-32 to the surface of the trap with enough water to cover the entire surface area. Allow from three to five days to two weeks for grease liquefaction and then follow up with pumping of the trap and applying AquaClean as prescribed above for on-going maintenance.
