The following Thank You Letter was received from the Superintendent of the Municipal Parks and Recreation in Aschach, Austria. The Swimming Pond was a key attraction of this weekend community. The Pond was created by a dam, and was used solely for swimming. Due to build up of Organics, and Grease from Sun Tanning Oil, the Pond would have algae blooms, causing a slimy coating on the pond’s edges and on the floating diving board rafts. At various times during each season the Pond would be closed due to these general water conditions and health risks. AquaClean ACF-32 was used to breakdown the organics, resulting in a significant improvement. The slime coating was eliminated, e-coli/coliform was reduced to below regulations, and the turbidity cleared up. In general the conditions of the Pond were significantly improved, to the point that it was no longer forced to be closed for periods of time, which had not happened for many years.

Dear Mr. Stuhl
With those short lines I want to tell you how thankful I am.

As you have seen on some pictures, and saw when you visited us, we had an algae problem for many years now. After some experiments and good advice from “pound experts” I tried different powders and micro organism. But they never could stop the algae growth.

Thanks to your analysis on site and your right combination of your products, we now have mastered the algae problem. After about 3 weeks after your visit we could see a dramatically improvement of the situation. Even the persistent algae in the swimming part and around the spring stone and on the stones around the pound died away and were dismantled by the micro organism! Additionally the water is now not only clear, it is:

"Crystal clear, and when you swim the feeling on your skin is comfy and soft"

For me there is only one conclusion: If you facing a problem concerning pond water, there is only one product to use...AquaClean ACF-32.

Evaluation and Discussion

The water sample has a very clean appearance. The concentrations of organic substances (oxidize able) and nutrients (nitrogen and phosphorus) have been significantly reduced when compared to the pre-trial data noted below. Chlorophyll was not detectable. The values measured comply with regulations and the water is considered to be of excellent quality.

The Pre-Trial Water Analysis (05.03.1998) was ordered by Mr. Helmut Raab.

The values are in ppm (w/v) which is the same as mg/L.

-N: calculated with M(O)=16,M(H)=1,M(N)=14
