Carcass Composting Humic & Biosol Liquid Fertilizers
Dealing with the carcasses of poultry and swine farms has been an issue in the past, and methods have been developed to compost and use the by-products as fertilizer. The problem with such methods has been the length of time it has taken, the attendant odors and insect infestations, as well as the general health issues during the process.
Working with CP in Thailand, tests were conducted on their covered in-ground composting method where carcasses were dumped in to the cylinder vats, using a locally available EM BioProduct, the process took some 8 to 9 months to decompose the material. Using AquaClean ACF-32 the process was shortened to 4 months, but also eliminated the odor and insect infestations as well. Qualitatively the resulting fertilizers performed better, whether used in the dry humic format or using the biosol liquid runoff.
This concept was then taken to Peru, where farmers have had the same results with Wind-Row Methods, as well as Anaerobic BioSol Generators.
The resulting compost is excellent for land farming, and used to enrich the soil. The crop yields have been increased by some 20 to 30 percent in vegetable crops, and the BioSol Liquid Fertilizer has resulted in yield improvements up to 40 percent.
