English Translation – Letter from Coca Cola

To Whom It May Concern:

We, Ecoplanta Nixapa Coca Cola, of the Group Agrisal, dedicated to the protection of the environment, have an activated sludge system utilized for the treatment of wastewaters generated by the production in our beverage facility.

After initiating a second production line, the volume of water utilized in our plant doubled which in turn doubled the organic loading to our water treatment facility. This forced us to search for options regarding the efficient treatment of our residual wastewaters.

After making several source control changes in our facility in order to reduce organic loading, and incorporating the addition of AquaClean bacteria into our aeration chamber, we managed to increase the efficiency of our wastewater treatment facility to over 90% within 15 days.

The company, Pryeasa SA de CV, exclusive distributors of the product in El Salvador, has given excellent technical support and customer service which has facilitated the continued purchase and consumption of AquaClean and allowed our company to continue to protect the precious Salvadorian natural environment.

AquaClean Treatment Results on COD Discharge

Based on AquaClean treatment of the waste water facility, the COD was significantly reduced.

Before treatment the average COD Effluent was over 2,000, and the Regulation Guide-Lines were 450.

Within two weeks, the Plant was operating within regulations, and after three weeks the effluent was below 50 on a consistent basis. Even when there was a spike in COD Influent, AquaClean was able to bring the system back into regulation very quickly.
